Day 10: Jackson Hole, Wyoming

This morning, the crew had the joy of waking up to the sun, not an alarm clock! They were more than thrilled to sleep late and have a little relaxation time in Jackson, Wyoming. People often refer to the town as "Jackson Hole" but that name encompasses the entire valley, which is about 60 miles long.

The day was filled with a variety of activities around Jackson. Shopping was the major attraction. Some of the crew's favorite shops were Lee's Tees and Shirt Off My Back. The bus will definitely weigh more tomorrow with all of the new t-shirts that were purchased! Other activities included hiking up Snow King Mountain, running, and of course trying out the local food! Today was also the perfect opportunity to do laundry. I have never seen teenagers so eager to wash their clothes!

Tonight's entertainment was dinner and a show at the Jackson Hole Playhouse. For dinner, the crew chose from a chicken or pasta dish. While we ate, the playhouse actors serenaded us with Western classics.

After dinner, we attended the world's longest running shoot-out, which began in 1955, on Jackson Town Square. It looked like the entire town was in attendance!

Back at the theater, we watched the musical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers. The comedy and  choreography were outstanding. The most impressive scene was a slow motion fight between the Seven Brothers and the townspeople.

All in all, Day 10 was one for the books. Next stop, Yellowstone and the 320 Guest Ranch!
