The scenery in western Texas was a little dry and monotonous (shown below) so we passed the time by watching a movie called Inception, staring Leonardo DiCaprio. Otherwise the crew kept themselves entertained by chatting with each other, listening to music, or sleeping!
We finally made it to the Menger Hotel in San Antonio in the early evening. This hotel was established in 1859, only 23 years after the fall of the Alamo. It has been unofficially identified as "The Most Haunted Hotel in Texas," claiming to host over 32 spirits. Some of the crew was immediately interested in ghost hunting- I can't wait to hear what they find!
The students had free time to grab dinner and check out the San Antonio River Walk. After a long day of travel, we are excited to explore more of the city tomorrow!
